The IMS gymnasium was filled with students, staff, and cultural dancers. The cultural performance and educational piece provided the school’s students with a wonderful learning opportunity. The school would like to thank all who made this event happen.
Ignacio Middle School celebrates Native American Heritage month, ahead of the Thanksgiving break, with lessons and stories from Southern Ute Heritage and Events Coordinator, Marvin Pinnecoose along with heritage dance performances and a drum group out of Towaoc, Colo.
