The Southern Ute Indian Tribe and its entities collaborated to host the “End of School Year Bash” on Saturday, May 21, celebrating the conclusion of the academic school year for children of all grades and ages. The color run event marked the beginning of festivities, starting at the SunUte Community Center Park and the Piinu Nuuchi Skate Park — students and their families ran approximately 1.07 miles throughout Tribal Campus while being colored by dyed cornstarch thrown by tribal staff.
At the conclusion of the color run, participants began to share the remaining colored powder with nearby spectators and friends making sure to get some color on the attendees.
