Elementary feeds hundreds for Thanksgiving

Volunteers assisted in serving the hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to the families and students of the Ignacio Elementary School.
Ignacio Elementary School cooks: Mariel Mendez, Sierra Velasquez, and Alma Herrera prepared the food. “The cooks did an amazing job this year preparing all the food for the families and students,” said Elementary School Principal, Kathy Herrera.

The Ignacio Elementary School prepared over 600 meals, for the hundreds of families who came to eat a Thanksgiving meal with their Elementary student on Thursday, Nov. 16.
