The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy held their annual flag raising ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 17 in honor of safe blessings for the staff and students. Southern Ute Veterans, Rudley Weaver, Ronnie Baker, and Larry Tucker led the ceremony as the students gathered together on the playing field. Weaver addressed the opening prayer while Tucker graced the staff and students with cedar.
