The Ballet of Ignacio held a special recital inside the Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Hosted by the LaPlata County Independent Youth of Performing Arts, 11 youth dancers displayed their graceful moves in front of a crowd of cheering parents. Practice for the recital started in September and carried on for twelve weeks. The group has given special thanks to Dancing Spirit Community Arts Center for lending their facility for practice sessions. The next sessions will commence in January and conduct for twelve weeks.
