On Thursday, May 22 at SunUte Community Center the students of the Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy made the transition to public school during the annual SUIMA Transition Ceremony. With the gym filled with many parents and family members, students performed songs and to close the ceremony the students performed a round dance. Their time at SUIMA came to an end while holding hands, smiling and celebrating.
