Welcome to the new school year!

Historically, the first day is the most anticipated day of the year, the 2025-2026 school year will be no different. Kindergartners, and new students, are apprehensive, curious, and eager. Returning students are excited to see their friends, their teachers, show off their new clothes and have backpacks full of school supplies.

Between now and the end of August, all the schools in our state will have welcomed their new and returning students. SUIMA’s first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year will be Monday, Aug. 25. It’s going to be an awesome year!

Enrollment information:

We have openings in all levels and all classrooms. Registration packets can be found at www.suima.org under the For Parents tab. Registration closes Aug. 11.

On Friday, Sept. 5, we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of our school with the community. If you attended the Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy for any period in your life, please come join us for part of the day. On that day, we will have some fun activities and be serving lunch that everyone can participate in – more information will be sent out in the next edition of the Drum. Please call the school at 970-563-0253 for more information.
