The Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO) of the Cultural Preservation Department was awarded a prestigious Major Project Grant from the State Historical Fund of the Colorado State Historic Preservation Office.
The THPO received the maximum grant award of $250,000. These funds will be utilized to develop a Cultural Resource Management Plan for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe over the next two years.
THPO team members Audrey Andrews, Izabella Cloud, Roshae Weaver, Brianna Goodtracks-Alires, Gideon TwoCrow, and Katrina Baker look forward to working alongside the community to create and implement a comprehensive and dynamic plan that will serve generations to come.
