The Kava 101 Horsemanship training wrapped up its third session on Friday, May 16 at the Sky Ute Fairgrounds. During this session, riders used their new skills to attempt an obstacle course, Southern Ute tribal member Leandra Litz rides a horse named “Thor” through the pole portion of the course.

The Kava 101 horsemanship saw many participants, riders of all experience levels joined to advance their knowledge and comfortability around horses. Isaii Perez sits atop a horse guided by SUFG Business Operations/Foreman, Chris Phillips.
