Ignacio Elementary School paid a visit to the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum on Wednesday, Nov. 16, where the students learned about the history of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and culture as part of their academics. Tribal member Linda Baker hosted the visit, along with 4th grade teachers Deb Otten, Kerry Melrose, Tanner Pilette, and Sarah Kappel.
