Tribal Fair 2013: Ready to rumble

A variety of contests headlined the weekend’s events at the Southern Ute Tribal Fair & Powwow in Ignacio Sept. 13-15, including softball, basketball, horseshoes, jalapeno eating, tipi raising, and the always-popular greased pole climb. For the less-physically oriented, there was also the duck race, baby contest, frybread contest and more.
