Dear Tribal Membership, Tribal Council, and Executive Office,

My name is Trae Lucas Seibel and I am simply writing this letter to inform and remind you all of a powerful and influential concept that I believe needs to be implemented, consistently practiced, and conversed about as soon as possible. The concept Emotional Intelligence has been statistically proven to enhance individuals/teams mindset. Imagine a realm where we, as individuals, are consistently practicing efficient Self-Management, Self-Awareness, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management! The type of productivity and accountability that needs to take place can and will, if this term is practiced. If we, as Tribal Members, were able to hold ourselves accountable to this concept, the realm and environment of complaining, laziness, unaccountability, and blaming will come to an abrupt halt. But, it all starts with the practicing of accountability for OUR OWN REALITY that WE have created. As a human of our earth, a Tribal Member, a Graduate Student, and an educator of Ignacio High School, I challenge our Tribal Members, Tribal Council, Executive Office, and all Department Directors to begin the wake-up process of this powerful concept, Emotional Intelligence! This is not a letter to complain about the lack of Emotional Intelligence within our Reservation, it is simply a notification of education that is provided to each and every one of you that read this.
