The hard work of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe’s Clean Team got the Leonard C. Burch Building recognized as the Green Clean Institute’s first gold-certified building on an Indian reservation, David Thompson president of GCI said during a recognition ceremony Thursday, Oct. 15.
GCI president David Thompson and Custodial Services Supervisor Jess Baidwan get ready to place the gold-certified sticker on the south entrance of the Leonard C. Burch Building. Baidwan said it has been a goal over the last two years to have a Green building at the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
