Tanaya Winder brings community together for upcoming music video

Local poet and singer Tanaya Winder recently brought community members together for the filming of her upcoming music video “Maybe,” a track from her new album Call Back Your Heart.

A call went out on social media inviting extras to take part, encouraging everyone to wear 1950s attire to match the vintage-themed setting. The entire video was filmed in one day at a location generously offered through a connection of award-winning director and filmmaker Razelle Benally, who led the creative vision behind the project.

The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and collaboration. After filming wrapped, everyone came together to share a meal – highlighting the spirit of unity that made the project so special.

The video features performances by Jacob Shije, Ria Thundercloud, Jojo Jackson, Sunshine Eaton, and Avery Hale, with choreography by Natalie Benally.

Stay tuned for the official release of “Maybe,” which will be announced on Tanaya’s social media (@TanayaWinder). Her new album Call Back Your Heart is available now on Spotify and Apple Music.
