The Southern Ute Indian Tribe’s Construction & Project Management office is managing the Cedar Point home replacement project. A Town Hall Meeting was held on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility, with homeowners to discuss changes that have been approved by Tribal Council on the buyout option for homeowners, as well as to discuss Tribal Council’s approved resolution to proceed with the project.

Homeowners will be finalizing changes to their home plans in the weeks to come. When finalized, the project will be bid this fall by contractors. New home construction is scheduled to start in the spring of 2023, and rebuilding of existing homes scheduled to start the spring of 2024.
