Southern Ute Tribal Council Member, Lorelei Cloud was invited to be a panelist for the Water Education Colorado’s “Colorado Ute Tribal Water Rights and Access” webinar, Thursday, June 9. The webinar’s attendees included educators, students, professionals, media, and public. She spoke on the Tribe’s water rights, the cultural significance of water, and on negotiations of the Colorado Ute Indian Water Rights Settlement Act.
