Office to provide base of operations in Southwest Colo.

The American Red Cross of Western Colorado is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Durango, Colo. The Red Cross office will be located in the heart of downtown Durango at 700 Main Ave. 

“We have planned to open up a physical office in Southwest Colorado for a while now,” states Executive Director Eric Myers. “The COVID-19 pandemic delayed our strategy, but we are thrilled to be opening at such an ideal location now.” 

The new office will provide a base of operations for our Southwest Colorado employees and volunteers and provide ample space for additional training, community meetings and partner engagement.

Red Cross staff held an open house to welcome the community to the new space on Friday, April 29. Employees and volunteers were on hand to answer any questions and share more about the mission of the American Red Cross.
