The timing of this extraordinary series both honors and is commemorative of November’s Native American Heritage Month, this series is an immersive cultural experience: Native American Artists and their works which are truly the intersection of Fine Art and historical significance. As a content creator for the presentation of Fine Art as well as the critically-acclaimed docuseries Art of The City TV, she has captured the flavor and historical significance of Native American artistic relevance, and presents to the world the timely story of the cultural capital of the Indigenous people, a story that has always been on the right side of history and on the right side of artistic accomplishment: illustrating Native American art both as curating and illuminating through the lens of her knowledge and being.
FNX is the first and only national broadcast television network in the United States exclusively devoted to Native American and World Indigenous content. Through Native-produced and themed documentaries, dramatic series, nature, cooking, gardening, children’s and arts programming, FNX strives to accurately illustrate the lives and cultures of Native people around the world.
Created as a shared vision between Founding Partners, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the San Bernardino Community College District, FNX is owned by and originates from the studios of KVCR-PBS San Bernardino. FNX began terrestrial broadcast in the Los Angeles area on September 25, 2011 and went national on November 1, 2014 via the Public Television Interconnect System (PBS satellite AMC – 21 Channel SD08), making the channel available to PBS affiliates, community and tribal stations, and cable television service providers across the country.
FNX is currently available in the greater Los Angeles media market over-the-air on KVCR Channel 24.2, and via cable through Frontier FiOS Channel 471

Ms. Thorn, San Diegan and of the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians brings to her docuseries her Native American experience; Her mother was an artist and was involved in the women’s rights movement, while her father, part of the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians, was one of the first Native Americans to occupy Alcatraz in an effort to gain equal rights for the Native Americans living on reservations, who at the time weren’t allowed to vote. In 2018, Thorn was elected as the chairwoman of the Rincon Economic Development Corporation of her tribe and has been on the board for many years. She oversees businesses that are owned by the tribe and is an active member of California chapter of the Native American Chamber of Commerce.
