Lynette Sage, daughter of the late Southern Ute Chairman Leonard C. Burch, stopped by the Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy’s Upper Elementary Class on Wednesday, Jan. 29. She presented information on the Animas-La Plata Project to the students to promote participation in the second annual Leonard C. Burch Art and Literacy Contest.
