Specialists from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency made a trip to the Southern Ute Reservation on Friday, Sept. 20 to study the Pine River. The EPA surveys conditions in rivers and streams nationally.
The analysts gathered information on pH levels, algae, and fish food sources.
