Southern Ute Tribal Information Services Director, Edna Frost reflects on her years working alongside the newspaper. She spoke favorably about the direction of the tribal newspaper and how The Southern Ute Drum has evolved and maintained relavent to the membership over time. The first issue was printed on May, 9, 1969 — this spring marks the fiftieth year for the tribal publication.
