Legally secure your financial future

Have you ever been confused about all the steps needed to protect your family’s inheritance?

Colorado State University Extension is once again offering Legally Secure Your Financial Future, a program designed to help you evaluate and organize all your legal affairs related to life issues. This program consists of three sessions: the first session will cover the important papers that you need and how long you should keep them, the second session will be presented by a physician to discuss advance directives and medical power of attorney, and the last session will be led by an attorney specializing in estate planning to help answer your questions about wills, trusts, etc.

To learn how you can pre-register, contact your local La Plata County Extension office at 970-382-6465.

The series will take place at the La Plata County Fairgrounds on Feb. 20, 27, & March 6 from 6 to 8 pm. The cost is $70 for all three or $35 per individual session.

Sessions are hands-on, packed full of valuable information, and are offered in a supportive, comfortable learning environment.

Make 2018 the year to get all your personal papers in order!
