97th Annual Southern Ute Tribal Fair: Parade & Results


The 97th Annual Southern Ute Tribal Fair Parade had over 80 registered participants Saturday Sept. 9 travelling along the main street of Ignacio. This year’s theme was “Laughter is Sacred” bringing in a lot of smiles and laughter with emoji faces, clowns, pandas and many other theme related floats. The 2017-2018 Royalty made an appearance along with upcoming chair nominees, current Tribal Council members and many traditional dancers. The Chairman’s award went to SUPD and Executive Officer’s award went to Red Willow, both floats were emoji themed.
