Cooking matters


On Friday January 20, the Shining Mountain Diabetes Program paid a visit to Farmers Fresh Supermarket to lecture about the importance of keeping a proper diet. Program aides ShawMarie Tso, Erin Jolley, Rebecca Fleming, Jenny Pritehard, Grace Heglund-Lohmon, and Betzi Murphy assisted customers in showing them the amount of fat contained in certain foods. Customers who visited all four booths pertaining to the different food groups were given a $10 gift card to Farmers Fresh.
