Southern Ute Committee of Elders secretary, Willette Whiteskunk, spoke to attending elders at the event about what the Committee of Elders does and if they had any concerns to get ahold of them through the Southern Ute Museum and Cultural Center.
The Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility invited Billie Tohee, a member of the National Indian Council on Aging and actor. Other sessions that day were from informative speakers, sharing knowledge, elder activities, and fun give away activities at the end of the day.
