Southern Ute Alternative Energy, LLC (SUAE) is requesting the submittal of responses to a RFQ for the engineering, procurement, construction, and initial operation and maintenance of a roughly one megawatt ground-mounted and grid-tied solar photovoltaic system on the Oxford Tract. Only the limited number of contractors selected from this RFQ will have the opportunity to submit proposals to a subsequent Request for Proposals. Responses to this RFQ (Qualification Packages) will be received by SUAE until 5:00 PM MST, on December 17, 2015. Qualification Packages received after that time will not be accepted. The Southern Ute Indian Tribe Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) has established a preference for contracting and subcontracting to certified Indian-Owned Businesses. SUAE reserves the right to reject any and all Qualification Packages, to waive any informality in Qualification Packages and to accept the Qualification Packages deemed, in the opinion of SUAE to be in the best interest of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
