This four session course taught by Southern Ute Indian Tribe Management Information Systems (MIS) will review various the uses of computer and wireless networking to attract and contact customers, use online resources to describe your services and products and potentially set up sales through web hosted services. Each session will provide participants with strategies ranging from the simple things you can do to the complex activities to effectively use digital marketing and e-commerce to improve your business.
Topics include:
• Building a customer contact base and marketing through electronic mail and social media
• Improving your presence in online directories, review sites, forums, groups, blogs and search engines
• Creating and managing informational web and social media pages for your products and services
• Selling and taking payment on the Internet for products and services
Computers and materials will be provided. Participant laptops are welcome. Scholarships are available.
