WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

 

Do you know or serve any low-income families in the Ignacio, Tiffany, Alison or Bayfield areas? The Southern Ute Montessori Head Start and Early Head Start are in need of low-income families to enroll in to our program for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year! Head Start is a FREE service to those who qualify, regardless of income. All ethnicities are welcome. Every year we search for low-income families to recruit in to our program. We need your help in getting them through our doors.

 

How might Head Start help the families you serve? Head Start isn’t just a child-care program. The Head Start Program is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families. It can also provide parents the time needed to find employment, continue their education or take care of any other needs. Our family advocates also work with each family towards reaching any personal goals that the parent(s) may have. We also provide a number of family events (BINGO, box-car derby, arts & crafts, etc) that allow children and their parents an opportunity for guided interaction and fun!
