20 Years Ago: U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell was back on the homestead in Ignacio early last week. An Olympian in judo, Campbell said he is a supporter of the North American Indigenous Games. Campbell was dining at the Patio Restaurant last Tuesday when Deichman Hudson had the pleasure of meeting him. This photo first appeared in the Feb. 16, 1996, edition of The Southern Ute Drum.
