When tribal members Ben P. Watts Sr. visited Ignacio, he had two things in mind. One was to take part in the Bear Dance; the other to say hello to an old friend, officer Stanley Frost of the Southern Ute Police Department. Why are they photographed in front of the tribal seal? Because in a contest to select a design, they came up with two the council like so much they joined them to produce the winning design.
