The intersection at County Road 517 sports the infrastructure for a soon to be operational stoplight, mild weather made it possible for contractors to get a majority of work completed ahead of schedule. The remaining steps to be finalized by CDOT are temperature dependent, and the traffic signal will not be operational until that work is done later this spring, with hopes of having the intersection functioning by late March, or early April. Until then it is encouraged that drivers be mindful of oncoming traffic and take the extra time to safely navigate the busy intersection.
