Council Member Kevin R. Frost tendered his resignation with great honor and humility effective 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23.

“While it is a privilege to be elevated to Tribal Council by our tribal membership, I have received an opportunity and challenge I will not ignore,” stated Frost. Frost has accepted President Trump’s appointment to serve at the pleasure of the Department of Energy’s Secretary Rick Perry as Deputy Director for the Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs in the Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs, Washington, D.C.

Southern Ute Council Member Frost thanked the Southern Ute Indian Tribe for the opportunity to collaborate on issues affecting the Tribe and wished all the best for the future of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
