Bison, the healthier red meat


The Southern Ute Culture Department hosted a Bison Jerky Making class, instructed by Bison Educator Marge Borst on Tuesday, July 21. The class discussed the various methods on how to cut the meat, how to dehydrate the meat, and also how to use various seasoning such as: salt, pepper, and other spices.
