In respect for our veteran warriors

The Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum is admitting all Native veterans into the main gallery free of charge. This is a new year-round policy from the staff of the museum. It is in acknowledgement of those long and lonely hours spent in vigilance, while defending our beloved homeland; whether at war or in peacetime.

It was not lost upon our native warriors that while they defended the United States, undoubtedly they were defending their loved ones back home in Indian Country. This is the way of the warrior to defend the land of their ancestral fathers and mothers. It has always been a hard path, but one that must be preserved by the young men and women warriors and with great respect we here at SUCCM recognize their deeds and sacrifices.
