The Southern Ute Community Action Program’s Peaceful Spirit, the Southern Ute Treatment Center held its second annual Sobriety Celebration. The event was held to celebrate those who are in recovery or have maintained sobriety in their lives. The celebration was held at the SunUte Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 20
Peaceful Spirit Division Director, Dennis Dahlke welcomed everyone in attendance to the Second Annual Sobriety Celebration.
Kathryn Valencia gave a brief introduction during the Peaceful Spirit sobriety celebration.
The delicious desserts were a good way to end a meal provided by Peaceful Spirit staff and community members alike.
Staff and community members enjoyed the food and shared a smile and laugh during the celebration held at the SunUte Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 20

Lawren Lopez was an invited speaker to the Peaceful Spirit’s Sobriety Celebration. Speaking of the support his family gave him through his sobriety.
Doreen Baker spoke of her own sobriety, as one of the invited guest speakers.
Robert Ortiz, spoke of his 14 years of sobriety and entering into his 15th year.
