Tanisha Coyote celebrates graduation


Southern Ute tribal member, Tanisha Ruth Marie Turtle Coyote (17), celebrated an early high school graduation on Friday, Jan. 16. She was joined by her family at Farmington High School, where she was awarded her diploma complete with cap and gown. Timothy Kienitz, Farmington High School principal, congratulated Coyote on her achievements and wished her a thoughtful future in her education. Coyote will be attending Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO starting in August, where she will continue with her studies in culinary arts.
